Videos

This is a LONG video (Almost 3 1/2 hours!) But it is an RC Informer production and is very good and worth the watch. You will really know this model by the time you have finished watching .

The next video is again from RC Informer and shows performance with a 360KV motor installed.

Here is the last effort by RC Informer and shows performance with the new 18"x11" propellor. Note that at the end of the video Rich sums up by saying that the 300KV motor gives excellent scale like performance of the FMS Corsair 1700mm v3 and also adds that the CG stated in the manual is fine, but does recommend that a flight stabilizer be used.

This makes a lot of sense to me and I would suggest that the Spektrum  AR10360T DSMX with AS3X and SAFE be considered and then you would have telemetry as well!

Please note that all kits use the new propellor.

This last video by Pilot Ryan shows excellent performance with a stock model (using the new propellor) and a Spektrum AR631 receiver.

Cons

  • Some say the FMS Corsair 1700mm V3 is under powered, but I disagree. All my observations show a realistic top speed and very good vertical performance, along with great slow speed handing.
  • The pilot has very pink skin!

Review Notes

The only forum posts I could find were here on Hobby squawk.

A lot of talk about changing to a more powerful set-up. Not necessary, in my opinion.
