With a wingspan of 120" this is a big model and the interior can be fully fitted out with scale details.
Intended for the DIY scale enthusiast, a full kit as well as full size plans and laser cut parts are available.
This is an easy flying large scale model that is ideal for the beginner to building and flying this kind of RC airplane.

Extra Parts Required
- Power: 40-55cc gas engine or the Wren Turboprop see below for more details.
- Main Wheels: 4-4/14"diameter (Dubro 400TV recommended)
- Tail Wheel Assembly: Dubro #957 Semi-Scale Tail Wheel System or equivalent.
- Radio System.
- Servos: 8 total required. 7 (seven) standard size -Spektrum A6180 or equivalent (94 oz.in. torque) and 1 (one) standard size high torque for the rudder and tailwheel (Spektrum A6150 or equivalent)-180 0z.in. torque.
- Covering material.

The manual consists of 38 Pages of 3D Cad images of all the details of the RC Pilatus Porter construction.
A scan through the manual will give you a good idea as to what is involved and the level of experience required of the builder.
Floats
A set of floats for the MR Aerodesign PC-6 Turbo Porter can be made available, if there is enough demand
They are 53" long and are of all wood construction, with fiberglass bottoms and 2 servos per float for steering and rudder retraction.

Power Requirements
The original is powered with a Revolution R50 gas engine. We are showing the fiberglass cowl drawing so as you can judge whether the 40-55cc gas engine of your choice will fit.

The DLE 55-55RA would be a good choice.
Comes complete with electronic ignition and a pitts style muffler is available. Note also the stand-offs that come with it.
The Wren 2-stage turboprop can be fitted for the ultimate realism!
An optional mounting package is available that makes mounting of the unit simple and strong.
