Parkzone: Ember 2 BNF

by Bob Bishop
(RC Airplanes Simplified.com)

If you like to fly low and slow then the Parkzone Ember 2 BNF is what you are looking for!
If the wind is non-existent, then you can fly the Ember outdoors and because of its slow speed and excellent maneuverability, you can fly in very tight spaces.
A flight can last as long as 20 minutes and the lipo battery can be quickly re-charged.
The model is 3-channel but a 4-channel 2.4GHz RC transmitter is required. The Spektrum or JR 2.4GHz DSM2 RC transmitter is ideal.

Parkzone: Slo-V RTF Electric

by Bob Bishop
(RC Airplanes Simplified.com)

Low, slow and simple. This sums up the Slo-V and I should add durable. These features describe the ideal beginner RC plane.
It can be flown outdoors as long as the winds are really low. It can also fly indoors in a school gym or similar area. Being an RTF(Ready-To-Fly) you will not need to buy anything else. The Slo-V does come with an FM transmitter and maybe the only extra to consider would be a spare battery.
The simple stick fuselage is made from carbon fiber and the wing and tail are foam.
Spare parts are readily available so if you would like to learn to fly consider the Parkzone Slo-V
