by Bob Bishop
This is the RC ARF version of E-Flite's Mini Pulse. It is identical to the PNP version, but does not include any of the radio gear or electronics but it does cost a few bucks less! It does make a very good second airplane. When you have learned to fly with a beginner RC plane, this is a good plane for your next flight adventure! The Mini Pulse is capable of basic RC aerobatics but at the same time is very forgiving. The wing span of 42.5" makes this RC airplane good for park flyers but it will also be at home on the club field. Construction is from balsa and ply and the covering is UltaCote. These features make for a very tough airframe that can easily be repaired if necessary. It will take you maybe three enjoyable hours of assembly time and you will need to supply your own 4-channel radio. The outrunner brushless motor required is a Park 450 BL. Four RC servos are also needed(S75 Micros), as well as a 30A RC ESC. The lipo battery should be a 11.1V 3-cell 2100mAh. See more E-Flite.
