Receiver compatability
by: Bob Bishop

Yes indeed you can!
The DX6i will work with the older DSM2 as well as the new DSMX receivers.
The DX6i is a real bargain RC transmitter. It has impressive programming features for such an inexpensive unit.

Torque reaction
by:

If the RC airplane is electric powered, then it is easy to reverse one motor and use a reverse pitch prop. Now the motor torque reaction is balanced out.
With gas or glow engines this reversing may not be so easy.
Another reason to use electric power on multi-engine airplanes!

Surprise answer!
by: Anonymous

I was under the impression that UltraStripe was a self adhesive mylar striping material.
I was wrong! It is in fact a strip of Ultracote and thus must be applied with a heat iron. A trim iron is ideal.

Be careful, especially with the narrower widths, not to over shrink the material. Apply with your finger initially and smooth out as much as possible.
Apply the heat to each end and then the center, to keep the lines as straight as possible.
Curves can be negotiated a little at a time.

I would experiment a little before applying the final job.

No Problem!
by: Bob Bishop

Side mounting a 4-stroke or a 2-stoke should not give any problems at all.
Make sure that the center of the tank is level with or slightly below (max 3/8") the center of the carb and all should be well!
