Hangar 9: Mosfet Power Panel

by Bob Bishop
(RC Airplanes Simplified.com)

This is a nice power panel, that will fit into the average style of RC field box.
The unit features solid state design and can be used with a 12V battery and supplies power to a starter, fuel pump and glow plug.
The rheostat can be adjusted over a small range, that can be useful when staring a flooded engine.
Please be careful, when plugging in your glow plug socket, that you do use the glow plug sockets and NOT the 12V starter sockets! Ask me how I know this!
Note that there is an ON/OFF switch and a Pump switch that can be used to FILL or EMPTY the fuel tank.
There is no current drain when the panel is not in use.
