by Bob Bishop
The semi-symmetrical airfoil and tricycle landing gear makes the Advance 25e the ideal second model after you have mastered that beginner RC plane. Constructed from laser-cut balsa and ply, it is beautifully covered in UltaCote. It's wing span of 52.5"suggests it is more suited to the club field than the local park. It can be powered by a Power 25 outrunner brushless motor or if higher performance is required, then a Power 32 can be substituted. You will need a 4-channel RC transmitter and receiver and 4 min-RC servos. The RC ESC required for 25 power is a 40A and for 32 power a 60A unit is needed. The lipo battery should be a 3200mAh 3S 20C for the 25 motor but needs up-grading to a 3200 mAh 4S 20C for the higher power. Like all ARF RC planes, The Advance 25e comes to you with all the construction and covering completely finished. All you need to do is spend between five and seven enjoyable hours installing equipment and finishing off the assembly. You will be rewarded with a smooth flying and long lasting RC airplane, that looks like a million dollars! Shop safe at Amazon and enjoy free shipping if you spend $25 or more.
