The Lynxmotion DIY Drone
If building things yourself is your preference, then this diy drone will really interest you! Reduce the risk by using a proven design and obtain a kit that is as complete as you require.
The kit is available in three different levels of completion and all components are available separately.
To give you an idea of the size, this is a quad that uses 8-10" props that are centered on a circle of 19.3" diameter. It can be aerobatic and most certainly can carry a camera and gimbal.

The manual covers"Hardware Only" and "Basic Combo Kit" It is not included with the kits because the manufacturer wants to reduce cost (And therefor price to you) and updates can be easily applied.

Basic Combo Kit + Quadrino Controller-Whats Included
All the parts for the "Basic Combo Kit" are included plus the Lynxmotion Quadrino Nano Drone/UAV flight controller with GPS and is MultiWii compatible.

As this is a new flight controller, it was difficult to find any serious criticisms, apart from some experienced drone pilots saying that more advanced hardware chips were available.
The manual is well written and clear and concise. It has coloured 3D images and step by step instructions.
